A lot of homes around St. Paul have concrete steps out front with nothing to hold onto. It doesn't seem like a big deal until it is - especially once the ground gets slippery or someone in the house has trouble with balance. That's exactly the kind of problem this customer was dealing with.

We came in and fabricated a pair of steel handrails sized and fitted specifically for these steps. Both sides, running the full length of the staircase. The rails are mounted solid at the base and follow the pitch of the steps cleanly all the way up to the landing. No flex, no wobble - just a dependable grip every time you use them.

The matte black finish ties in well against the gray siding without looking out of place. That part matters more than people think. A handrail that looks tacked on is one thing. One that actually belongs there is another. We take the fit and finish seriously on every install, whether it's a simple set of exterior rails like this or something more involved.

This is one of those upgrades that's easy to put off but hard to argue with once it's done. The steps are safer, the entry looks sharper, and the customer has peace of mind every single time someone walks through that front door.

If your steps are missing a solid handrail - or have one that's seen better days - this is the kind of work we do. Fabricated and installed to fit your specific situation, not a generic off-the-shelf solution dropped in and called good.
